I've been on vacation in a faraway land and have absolutely no idea what is going on with this story.

However, I see this story on MSNBC

"Herman Cain enthusiastically embraced the Koch brothers -- saying he is their "brother from another mother" -- just hours after facing a legal complaint challenging his campaign's ties to a Koch brother affiliated non profit."

and am posting it for no other reason that it gives me the opportunity to link this:

This is all stated at a level of generality that I can't even begin to address.

Herman Cain, For President. Supported strongly by people who are only sort of vaguely paying attention.*

*This post was paid for people hoping to continue raping and robbing the U.S. Treasury for another generation.

One man's take on sexual harassment & rape:

A Herman Cain supporter, no doubt.

You mean according to the Tea Party poller?

You can bray and pout and whatever. Romney will face Obama. Romney will lose to Obama, barring some major Obama personal gaffe. And that's what the GOP wants/needs: Four more years of your rage.

Romney's dead even with Obama according to the Gallup poll that came out yesterday:

    It's going to be close.

I don't expect a "personal gaffe" by Obama, and I doubt it would matter anyway. He's the President. We know him now. He has a record, and he's going to have to run on it, and on the economy.

If the economy is still shit -- and that's likely -- he's going to have the fight of his life.

Possibly. But people remember who pushed us into the abyss in the first place. Handing the keys back to them may not seem like such a good idea by next fall.

Especially if the guy running against Obama has only one economic plan: to give more tax breaks to the billionaires who aren't creating any jobs.
