(P)eople are on to the sexual-harassment scam. . . . It’s obvious that these alleged victims and their lawyers — no matter what they may say publicly — are champing at the bit to come forward for their day in the limelight and the inevitable book deal. Who can pass up being the new Anita Hill, who to this day periodically receives glowing newspaper profiles?

It can only get worse for Cain.
Maybe a clean-cut guy like Joe Paterno can endorse him.
    No, wait...

Like I was saying, people are going to blame the 1 percent, not Obama...

    http://www.laobserved.com/biz/2011/11/new_poll_captures_a.php

More than three-quarters of the country says the nation's economic structure is out of balance and favors a very small proportion of the rich over the rest of the country. They say America needs to reduce the power of major banks and corporations, as well as end tax breaks for the affluent and corporations. Sixty percent say they strongly agree with such sentiments.

BTW, the poll shows Obama increasing his lead over Romney.

Dahlia Lithwick with an excellent response to Derbyshire and Thompson's vomit-inducing remarks:

Geez, it's almost gotten to the point where you can't make ANY suggestions or jokes about blow jobs with your female colleagues and underlings. I don't know if any of us want to live in that world.

If anything Cain has clumsy moves and opening lines.

Cain was on Kimmel last night. Kimmel made fun of him in the monologue, they showed footage of the Gloria Allred press conference and then Cain came out as the second guest.

Just strange... He's a creepy dude.

He's a question - Bill Clinton contends that oral sex is not sex and if so - how can asking for oral sex be sexual harassment?

And no I'm not seriously asking for an answer. Just pointing out a double standard.

I'm with you, but I don't think anybody was buying it in then and nobody is buying it now...

Apparently Cain has a press conference later today to address the scandal(s).

Not so much a double standard as Bill Clinton being wrong.

Clinton wasn't looking to trade employment for sexual favors.
