That is not a double standard. Clinton was giving a tortured justification as to why he didn't commit perjury.

I don't think that any court would find that sexual harassment (either quid pro quo or hostile environment) has to involve the request for actual intercourse.

Am I missing something?

If:
a) he upgrades her to a suite at the hotel, and
b) he takes her to a nice restaurant,

Then why does he make a cheap, punk move like that in the car before getting back to the hotel????

Maybe she ordered a grilled chicken caesar salad and a diet coke instead of steak/lobster and he panicked?

Nobody's proffering a blanket pardon for Bill Clinton's lifetime private conduct, here. But on a case-by-case basis, his body of work is largely based on mutual agreeing to agree, rather than multiple gimlet-eyed business deals, trading employment for gratification.

Stiffler's Mom, I mean Bialek, doesn't help her cause by holding a presser and having Gloria Allred rep her.

If anything, she allows an opening for Cain to discredit her and, as a result, discredit the other, more believable, women.

Of course, in the long run, anything that keep Cain in the race is good for us Democrats.
