If I was Obama, I wouldn't be doing anything to hurt Cain's campaign.

Classy. From Cain's own political team. I just can't see why they'd be having so much trouble.

(Just FYI she appears to have had a long career in government, with involvement in the public eye as far back as the Elian Gonzalez case, and has been working with or for the IRS since at least 2003. So "she works for Obama" is about as accurate as saying your mailman is a willing distributor of Obama's Socialist propaganda.)

Shit, my mailman can't even put my Hammacher Schlemmer catalog in the right box, so no chance of getting the good stuff.

This is the huge misnomer. You'd have the competent black man against the incompetent black man. And ain't a whole lot in the mood to vote for the incompetent one. There is pretty much no way that the incompetent Obama wins re-election now -- wishes of the believe-in-unicorns crowd aside.

First of all, learn what misnomer actually means.

Second of all, Herman Cain wants to raise taxes on the middle class. Massively. Six months of a steady drumbeat of ads pointing that out and he'll be lucky to win Alaska.

It's odd - just a few weeks ago I was wondering which presidential candidate or potential vice-president would have his public reputation ruined or diminished in the course of running. It seems to happen every four years: John Edwards, Gary Hart, Palin (somewhat), Ross Perot, Ferraro, Eagleton, George Romney, Joe Biden ('88) and Pat Buchanan.
You wonder how many others there might have been if they just polled better or were bigger threats to other candidates.

Herman Cain would be the perfect last President of the United States.

Hell, I'm a republican and it will take something crazy to happen for me to even consider voting for Obama, but Cain scares people. Sometimes the devil you know is better than the devil you don't and that statement applies to Bachmann, Santorum, Cain and some of the other republican candidates.

I really want it to be Romney or Huntsman.
