Nope. So far, there is a noticable drop in intensity and there are way too many mentions of last year.
It doesn't help that Stillman and Kaberle are both out. That's a top-six forward who was tremendous on the PP and a top-four defenseman also on the PP both out.

Although he is absent now through injury and not moving on, the same thing happened with the Lightning when they lost Stillman after winning the Cup. Highly undervalued player?

Always as been an undervalued guy. We ran a story during the SC final that said as much. I think the 'Canes finally recognized his value, by signing him to a relatively healthy contract.

I asked him right before the Finals why he chose to come to Carolina. His response was essentially "There was no one else."

Shame he had to leave Calgary ...

Hard worker, guaranteed 20-25 goals a year when healthy and responsib.e defensively. Why then is it that he has trouble finding work?

And the Wild win another one, 3-2, over Anaheim in a shootout.

There is life after baseball. ;) :D

I thought life in MN revolved around hockey? :)

Double J, your yappy mouth friend Chris Neill sure outdid himself the other night. :)

(Actually, he sure set the tone when he was yammering at Tucker at the beginning of the game. Tucker--as much as I like him a player--deserved it)

But someone should tell him to put his teeth in when he's being interviewed.
