That's a fine where, if I'm Bryan Murray, I'm taking up a dressing room collection in order to pay it on Schaefer's behalf. The officiating has been just brutal in too many games this year.

 

Je concur. If you're interviewing him about something positive and good for him, he's great. Talk about something he doesn't like or is unprepared to handle and he turns instant asshole.

Anybody else notice the Leafs haven't won since Sundin came back? Reminds me of the playoffs a few years ago when Toronto was rolling along with (pretty much) an AHL lineup, then Sundin returned from injury and they didn't win again.

It's be hard for Chicago's offense to be worse, so may as well take a chance on Bondra. Hawks have been beyond useless on the power play of late. Wonder if he'll be on Havlat's line...

EDIT: Chicago goes 0-10 on the power play tonight...including 0-3 with a 5-on-3...but still manages a home win over Edmonton. Oilers were flat, for whatever reason. Hawks travel to the moribund Blues' building Tuesday, so looks like Chi-town may well punk St. Louis in different sports on consecutive nights...
