All-Purpose Hockey Thread II

I missed this yesterday -- Kitchen out of St. Louis. Andy Murray's behind the bench now. Hope he can perform a miracle, because he's been great to deal with.

 

Murray seemed to always keep the Kings competitive despite not having the best talent available;

 

Vs. did a nice job with the Pens-Caps game. Who was doing color on that, he was excellent. On one shootout move he said Fleury suffered "slippage of diskage."

I watched a Predators game two weeks ago and they had that idiot on in an intermission. They allowed him to hold a piece of blue cardboard on a popsicle stick in front of his face while they interviewed him.

If y'all are still looking for another NHL franchise, please lay off my lovable AngrySkatingBirds and take a look at the Washington Capitals.

I made the trip up for Monday's thriller. And were it not for the thousands of Penguins fans who did likewise, there MIGHT have been 7,000 people there. MIGHT.

And a GREAT fucking game.

 

MB, where did you sit? I was literally 10 row behind the Caps bench.

And how about Kris Beech saying the Pens had the ugliest uniforms in the league during that little video board interview? Nothing was uglier than him wearing one and getting smeared against the boards anytime his weak ass went into the corners.

 

Damn, we must have seen each other at some point, then. I was in 120 (Pens' attacking faceoff circle, bench side) and row J. See the dude with the 93 Pens Tocchet jersey? Yep, that was me. You must have only been a section or two away from me. Was there with the mustardwife who was wearing her Hurricanes Brind'Amour jersey.

 

Holy crap. I don't remember you, because there were a ton of Pens fans there. But I do remember seeing your wife's jersey. I was wondering who in the hell would wear a hockey jersey not involving one of the teams playing.

I was in 120 briefly before I snuck over to the area behind the Caps bench. I was one of 187 people with a Lemieux jersey on in the current style.
