I have a 2006 Canadian Olympic sweater hanging up in my closet. It's XXL, because I like my jerseys to be big and baggy. Unfortunately, it's the smallest XXL ever because it's a form fitting jersey. It's like I'm wearing a medium jersey.

The Flyers are quite the organization.

Six seconds into overtime. A brilliant goal.

"Kiss my ass! We win 'cause I make 'em crazy! You're the biggest fucking pussy in the league!"

I would say wait and see.

I think they may be beneficial, since it will be darned hard to get a grip on them to slow players down, meaning less clutch and grab.

The other thing is they could look pretty cool on the cut athletes in the League. On the beer-gutted fans, not so much....but I think they would continue to provide traditional jerseys for beer-leaguers etc.

    Holy bad goaltending!

Rangers have held Leafs to five tonight. In the first period.

Not so much bad goaltending. It's bad defensive play on the part of the Rangers and the fact that Toronto's good. Wellwood has scored twice; Ponikarovsky and Colaiacovo scored goals in a 27 second span.

It doesn't help matters that Renney scratched Petr Prucha, who could help the offense, in favor of Colton Orr.

And Wellwood just scored his third goal of the rout. 6-1 Leafs. Somewhere, JR and HC are laughing.

    7-1.

Rangers going to pull Lundqvist, or are they going to leave him in to give up a dozen?

Edit: In other blowout-related news, Blue Jackets also gave up 5 in the first. Now trail only 5-4.

I would think that they would pull him for Weekes between the second and third periods.

Before tonight's game, the Rangers had played great defensive hockey, only allowing seven goals in its last five games.

Ponikarovsky just scored his second goal of the game. He's working on a four point game (two goals, two assists).

And Wellwood has five points (three and two).

I hope Maurice lets them run wild in the third period. Fuck, if the Rangers don't give a shit, why not run it up?

Leafs should run-it-up. Let's see if the Rangers have any pride. BTW, Rangers' radiocasters just screamed as if they won Cup following Martin Straka's goal. Straka's goal cut Toronto's lead to a mere 8-2.
