Raycroft should be pulled. Two goals on 12 shots. Disgraceful. :)

The stRangers, meanwhile, now have almost as many goals as they have minor penalties (three).

Allow me to quote the Rangers radiocasters immediately following Straka's goal.

    "GOOOOOOAAAAALLL! Mar-tee Stra-ka! A spectacular goal by Mar-tee Stra-ka!"

Me: "Dude, it's 8-2, not the Cup winning goal in triple overtime of game seven. Relax."

Jeff O'Neill scored with seven seconds remaining. 9-2 Leafs. Solid effort, boys. You didn't disgrace the sweater at all.

With an assist to Ponikarovsky, who matches Wellwood with a five-point night.

Remember the days of yore when Darryl Sittler could score consecutive hat tricks in the second and third periods and not have to worry about someone complaining about his lack of sportsmanship? Screw sportsmanship -- you'll never set any records that way.

If you can't stop a team from scoring, don't bitch.

HB, please don't kill yourself. It's only one game. :)

Not gonna off myself, but that was a bad time for the Rangers to play their worst game of the season.

Looks like they picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.

I heard Dyepack talked to the team beforehand. Presumably their eyes were glazed over after he was finished spouting the nonsense he thinks he knows about the sport.

I can see the quotes in Sunday's New York Post:

"We were mindfucked," said captain Jaromir Jagr. "By the time that asshole finally cleared out of the room, we were in absolutely no shape to play. We might as well have just undressed right there."

"If I see him anywhere near our room again, I'll slit his throat," said an angry Brendan Shanahan. "I had people in from Mimico to see this game and it was just embarrassing. I'll never be able to show my face again at the Blue Goose."

It was, like all of Toronto's goals last night, a no-defense-er. The Rangers didn't pick up anyone last night, not even hookers.
