Am I the only one sick of announcers saying "spinarama?" Why can't they just say a player spins?

Aren't Blackhawk fans (all 52 of them) the leaders in the clubhouse in regards to this?

Last Hawks Cup: 1961. The Hawks spent the rest of Hull's tenure threatening to become a dynasty, but never did. Chicago lost to Leafs in 62; Habs in 65, 71 and 73. Worst disappointment outside of the Cup losses was finally breaking the Muldoon "curse" with a first-place finish in 1967, then losing to Leafs in semis.

As well as highlights from the parade through the arena parking lot. :p

Unlike back in the '70s, when the mayor of Montreal was quoted as saying after another Cup win that the parade would follow "the usual route." :-\

The best arena parking-lot parades are in Raleigh.

Easy, now. Half of downtown at the time was under construction.

Big surprise in the Triangle. ::)

Indeed. Read his biography about 10 years ago. Good competition for biggest nutjob in NHL history, along with Kordic.

Yeah, but when you look at the old man you realize that Spinner got it honestly. As for Kordic, I'm not sure he ever had anyone to blame other than himself.

Yeah, hold up a CBC station over a hockey game ... dude had all his eggs in one basket, eh?

Do you think opponents of the CBC look upon Roy Spencer as a martyr to the cause?

Hey, that sounds like a great topic for Satellite Hot Stove on some slow Saturday night. ;)
