For post No. 1,500, much like post 500 and 1,000, I provide it here on my second favorite thread (All-Purpose Hockey Thread I being the top one):

Can someone please let the Southern California papers know that the Anaheim Ducks should be dominating the sports talk in that area? If the Lakers were on this great a roll, it would be world championship talk everywhere and Lakers flags already out on the cars. In Ducks town, they keep winning and the media, aside from the OC Register, cares less about 'em.

In his career, Robitaille has skated for the
Boston Bruins, Nashville Predators, Los Angeles Kings, Pittsburgh Penguins, New York Islanders, Atlanta Thrashers, Minnesota Wild and Philadelphia Flyers.

Well, why should anyone care about them? After all, it's not like hockey is a real sport. [/dyepack]

He had a hell of a year for me as a waiver wire pick up for the Leafs in NHL 2001.

Further proof of global warming. When was the last time you played shinny with no shirt?

Shot yesterday in an outdoor rink in downtown Toronto.

Can't be. It looks like those two guys are sporting mullets. Very un-gay.

Further proof there should be a law against some people going shirtless. That said it's 9C here today. :D

No. They traded Zhitnik to Philly to clear some cap space. They are four or five million under the cap.
