All-Purpose Hockey Thread II

Canes threatened to do the same thing. Rallied from 2-0 hole a few minutes in to beat Florida 3-2 in OT.

That's four in a row ... team is picking up some steam.

 

Just think how the Canes would do if Staal would ever get out of his funk.

 

I know ... that's the reason for more optimism. Staal carried that team on his back offensively in stretches last year. He'll snap out of it ... not a worry right now.

 

The Flames-Sharks game last night was the kind of game that makes people become hockey fans. What a wonderful game; scoring, hitting, great goaltending.

 

Merry Christmas hockey fans. Ready to return to action on Tuesday!

 

The worst part of Christmas is that there is no hockey! On top of that, ABC offers an NBA game. Actually, CSPAN offers all the NBA coverage I need.

 

Sharks v Ducks again tonight. And it's west coast so I can see it after work. I can't wait.

Man, the Sabres are shooting 66 percent. Most NBA teams can't do that.

 

Lange sounds generally surprised the Devils are wearing red and black, not red and green tonight. Shouldn't he have noticed that color change something like 60 Pens-Devils games ago? Have the Devils worn red-green during the holiday season, which I've never heard of, or is Lange just drunk?
