Yeah, what can I say? Maybe I've lost some form without you here to shred ...

    Petr Nedved is useless.

Flames win the game, Oilers get head. Everyone gets something out of the evening. Yet more proof that Canadians have a great sense of equality and fairness, perhaps more so than us down here south of the border.

Says he who cheers for three different teams in the same league?

Wasn't quite an hour and a half. It was about the same length as the Hull one in St. Louis.

Yeah, still taping, though ... Elliotte is doing an interview with Scotty Bowman ...

Yzerman is such a class act. Loved Bowman's reaction to Stevie's praise. Hell, lots of guys who played for Bowman hated his guts.

Nice job by the Oil to get back on track 4-1. Roloson seemed to play a lot better, maybe the acquisition woke the room up a little.

SportsFan Magazine reports that there are rumors that ESPN2 may get NHL games next year:

If true, that would be terrific. Maybe they'd bring back NHL Tonight as well.

I miss that show so much. Since Pang and Ferraro have move on to color gigs, who would you take and the new studio guy to go with Melrose?

I assume that John Buccigross would be a host and you'd see a lot of E.J. Hradek as an analyst in addition to Melrose.

I think they'd keep Hradek out on the road and maybe have him for satellite pieces and trade talk. They'd need a player in-studio, I think.
