All I know is, if we don't have to see the Bruins wear that cuddly bear again, I'm all for it.

 

Raycroft can consider himself lucky if the Leafs get in. Had they lost last night, he gets run out of town like Manny Legace did in Detroit. This way, if he steals a game against the Sabres, all is forgiven.

I don't mind Raycroft that much. His D is not that great but last night he didn't help himself. The Leafs tightened up at the back when Aubin came in or it could have been curtains.

I'm reading in the paper today that there's plenty of hand-wringing because it looks like the Devils will go with Scott Clemmonson rather than Brodeur. Who can blame Lou who has nothing to play for? Think he'll be doing the Leafs any favours? In the same spot the Leafs would go with their backup and they've certainly had enough chances recently to help their own cause.

Leafs or Isles making the playoffs ... hmm, I'd like neither team to make it in. ;D Too bad one of them has to be there. I'd rather have Montreal make the playoffs but that won't happen now.

 

Cherry again, bitching that it's "not fair" if the Devils don't start Brodeur. Bullshit. It's a nothing game for the Devils and they don't owe the Leafs a thing.
