    That's right. Do you want to watch the team you've followed for 15 years get their ass handed to them every night. And before you even turn on the TV you know they're going to get their asses handed to them.

    What a horsheshit call against Madden.

    Now, I'm not certain, but I think he's not allowed to participate in a shootout if it gets there. That's the IIHF rule, I have to check if it's the NHL rule.

    I'm a fan, been one since the late 80s, early 90s before they got Lindros and were terrible. It's just hard to watch when your team has no chance to win and looks ugly as sin trying.

    As much as I wanted to host Pittsburgh-Ottawa, the shootout blows chunks. Something that has no relevance to the way the game is really played should not determine playoff teams.

    congrats, isles! the boys of shockey would've been inconsolable if they had blown this one. sheesh!! :eek:

    now the rangers-isles trash talk will continue in my household until the rangers and isles are eliminated... which shouldn't take long.
