    I can for Jim Hrivnak!

Please lets end this Dools. I want to go to bed. I'm powerless to resist an obscure NHLer-off. :-[

We kept it going for a while trading off each other's goalies. But I'll call it a draw and see if Jim Hrivnak ever played for the Blues.

Edit: Indeed he did...1993-94. After that he played in seven leagues in 10 years, none of the leagues being the NHL

I'll give you a run for your money here on you Jim Hrivnak and terrible goaltending for your team.

At least you never had Eldon "Pokey" Reddick.

Were they saying that Hossa was the better player, or that Heatley was just a bigger risk? I don't know too many people that think Hossa is a better player when both guys are on.

I second that. It's wonderful that Hall voters were able to look past Neely's stats and recognize that he was a pre-eminent power forward.
He's certainly a more deserving honouree than, say, Bernie Federko.

I think people feel Hossa is the more gifted player. Heatley's plays the prototypical power forward's game.
That said, I'd rather have Heatley because Hossa is as soft as the day is long.

Neely was the most dominant power forward in a 10 year span. Had he not taken a cheap shot from gutless Ulf Sammuelson...

So is Martin Havlat, unless he's kicking somebody.
I don't know why he didn't just drop the gloves with Hal Gill, unless he really is an even bigger pussy than Gill is. Gill is a big guy, sure, but he can't fight to save his life.

Remember when Tie Domi got suspended for plowing Samuelsson in the head? He should have gotten a frigging medal instead.

Gill's inability to fight may be true, but he would have pimp-slapped Havlat.

I remember that game very well. Rangers at Leafs. I know RANGERS fans who were cheering Domi.
