I used to fantasize about having one week in the NHL, because I had a hit list of players I would have gone after. Ulfie Baby was right near the top of the list, along with Bryan Marchment and a couple of others. I was gonna spear them in the face, cross-check them in the throat, you name it, they were gonna get it.

    That's a beautiful sentiment. :'(

I, too, had the same dream. Ulfie, Marchment, this douchebag--[IMG]--all left games with various injuries. Then I scored four goals, and the Rangers would win 4-0.

As Professor Terguson once said to Thornton Melon after the history class in which Thornton offered his insights into the Korean War, I like the way you think. :D

Not a chance if I'm channeling Turk Broda. :)

Amazing, isn't it, that a goalie used to be able to serve as a team captain?
I believe Bill Durnan was at one time the captain of the Habs.

I've always wondered when and why they changed the rule that doesn't allow goalies to be captains.

More amazing is that those poor pre-Plante goalies didn't wear masks and no one was killed.

I think I read that they changed it because it would take too long for a goalie to waddle the length of the ice, if necessary, to discuss a call with the officials. Now that goalies can't even cross centre ice without incurring a penalty, I guess it's carved in stone.

If we're going after people, can we all agree that Dale Hunter gets it right after Domi?

Problem is that lots of goalies now are better skaters than most of the players. :)

Claude Lemieux has got to be at the top of that list and Matthew Barnaby can't be too far off.
