I've got all summer to watch the Pirates get their heads kicked in. I think I can watch the Pens get their heads kicked in one more time.

Beef, no way he'll be there next year.

He'll probably end up in Phillie. :)

    LeClair, not Recchi.

    Sorry, Beef. "Recks."

Speaking of signing cornerstone players, the Leafs just resigned the superstar Chad Kilger to a multi-year deal. Stanley Cup here they come :p

You know, I wrote Recchi and immediately thought, "I don't think that's right".

You may have been thinking of the Crazy Eights line, of which Lindros and Recchi were two-thirds along with Brent Fedyk.

The only thing that Legion doomed was the Flyers' Cup chances.

when hedberg was in vancouver, crawford had one game where he called his goaltender "terrible." the other canucks started calling him "johan the terrible."

The playoffs don't start for a couple of days, but they pretty much have started tonight for Anaheim and Calgary. They play each other in the first round and they're playing each other tonight like it's Game 1 already.

Lots of chippiness. Roughing and slashing penalties. Joe DiPenta and Robyn Regehr just got booted for fighting.

Damn have I missed playoff hockey.

(Edit) Selanne just got pinned against the boards by Marchment which allowed Ference to take a few shot at him. Todd Marchant came over and a big scrum developed.

(Edit again) Iginla just elbowed Chris Kunitz in the back and got tossed in the bin. This is going to be a fun series.
