    A) I hope Wirtz sells the Blackhawks. I pray he does.
    B) What the hell would motivat the Trib to sell their cash cow known as the Cubs? And God I hope they don't sell them to Wirtz if they do. They have a hard enough time winning as it is, they don't need some cheapskate running the franchise and turning them into the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Right - the last spot is determined by the playoffs, but I think that's the only spot that gets impacted by playoff results. Which could be all that that story's saying, I guess.

The Trib is rumored to be thinking about unloading the Cubs and other non-media assets because its stock is doing so shitty. Mark Cuban's name usually comes up in connection with that rumor.

Sorry, back to hockey. How screwed are the Leafs?

JR, the only kid from our region who's played full-time in the NHL these last few years has been playing for Ottawa, so it's easy to cheer for them because of him.

Besides, he and his brothers have all played for Durham. :D

Wow, I did not realize. First I've heard of the rumours. If they do sell to anybody I hope they sell to Cuban, especially over Wirtz

I've been hearing that rumor for a long time. And I hope Mo gets it. I won't forget what he did for the Carolina Hurricanes.

    Not a chance.

Me, I'm rooting for the Avs because Wolski will be playing.   :D

I'm rooting for Calgary just because that was the team I rooted for when I got hooked on this game 2 years ago.  :-\

And I'm rooting for Detroit because I live in Mimico and it's a requirement for residency.  :D

Being a White Sox fan, and knowing some devoted, yet long-suffering 'Hawks fans, I can only hope Dollar Bill Wirtz trades in hockey for baseball.

I would think that Sinden would want Milbury running the show.

I believe Dean Lombardi is the leading candidate for the Islanders' GM job.

That's okay, Beef. I like Edmonton too. After all, Torres used to play for Brampton so you can't be all bad. :D
