Didn't have space for my overall standings, here they are.

    Eastern Conference
    1) Ottawa – how many more chances will they have with this seed?
    2) New Jersey – Elias has big year
    3) Atlanta – their turn in the rotation at the top of the Southeast. Next cup champs? Unlikely.
    4) Philly – push all year for second.
    5) Carolina – out to prove they are no fluke
    6) Boston – back to respectability
    7) Buffalo – not a whole lot separating them from 5th place.
    8) Montreal – gets in on the last day.
    9) Florida – just misses out
    10) Tampa Bay – overhaul coming
    11) New York Rangers – will keep it interesting until the end.
    12) Toronto – rebuild in full swing. Ready to return in 2 seasons.
    13) Pittsburgh – they will be fun to watch, however.
    14) Washington – Young guys like Fehr start to emerge, need more though.
    15) Long Island – Organization completely melts down from circus atmosphere.

    Western Conference
    1) Nashville – Cupcake division pushes them to the top
    2) Calgary – toughest division in all of hockey keeps them out of top spot
    3) Anaheim – not fun team to play against. Will frustrate many.
    4) San Jose – Will push Anaheim all year. Close race.
    5) Minnesota – crawling up the ladder slowly.
    6) Edmonton – Offence will carry them, bring back memories of yester year.
    7) Vancouver – Luongo carries the load for first Playoff appearance.
    8) Detroit – soft schedule gets them in, Nashville knocks them out.
    9) LA – misses out on last day of season.
    10) Columbus – Injuries bite them in the end.
    11) Phoenix – coaching not as easy as playing, eh Gretzky?
    12) Dallas – didn’t like them last year, like them even less now.
    13) Colorado – Am I taking too much enjoyment out of placing the Avs this far down?
    14) Chicago – will suck, but will anyone notice? Dave Tallon first GM fired.
    15) St. Louis – rebuilding is a bitch.

Hey, since I know the SJ Canadians are reading this thread, real quick sidebar: do you guys know of any decent Canadian job boards besides Jeff Gaulin?

mediajobsearchcanada.com – generally has more jobs than jeffgaulin.com, however sports jobs are few and far between, especially at anything more than a weekly in the middle of nowhere.

Press conference at 4:00. If for some reason you want to hear it, I suspect the FAN 590 will carry it live.

And as hard as it may seem, the Baby Jesus has shown up even faster and stronger than last year.

He's definitely faster and more powerful out there," teammate Colby Armstrong said. "You see him with the puck, not too many guys can knock him off. It's amazing to see. He worked his butt off this summer and it's paid off.

"Did you see the size of his butt and his legs? The guy's a freak," Armstrong added with a laugh. "You look at my chicken legs, I hobble just to keep up with the guy."

I've posted it before a long time ago, but it's worth posting again. Re-arrange the letters in Tie Domi and you get Me Idiot. :)

Apparently Pronger is tired of all the rumours, which I had thought died down. Mr. Pronger, a quick way to end all the rumours would be to explain why it became necessary for this to become a mutual family decision to leave Edmonton.

I'm not going to go back into all of the rumours, I rightfully got in trouble last time for it. However, Oilers fans have every right in the world to be pissed forever at him.
