And for old time's sake, a classic Probert/Domi match:

Certainly a classic. I'm trying to remember if that was the rematch or not.

Anybody catch the Hockey mini-series on CBC on the weekend? I thought it was very well done, I was very impressed with the recreation of some of the classic rinks. I was very impressed, very calssy along the lines of the Hockey Legends series that aired on TSN for a few years.

    There's a poll on Sportsnet.ca about Domi's greatest nemesis.

Guy's like Probert, Rob Ray and Donald Brashear are all listed.

That fat-fuck Flyers fan that fell into the penalty box and tried to fight Domi is winning by a huge margin.

Last Sunday was the first two hours. It's a ten hour series. Five two hour episodes on Sundays.

    Better than Hockey Legends, IMO.

Good historical digging in this one.

Damnit, my apologies. I do agree that it is better than Hockey Legends, However, just using it as a comparison point. They could have gone real hokey, but they kept the class level up to what was established by Hockey Legends. They just have the budget and the time slot to take it further. Definitely well done though.

Malkin makes his pro debut on the NHL Network tonight, Game time 4:30 Mountain time. 6:30 EST.

Pissed off I have to cover a high school football game in the cold – I like football, but I'd much rather like to watch Malkin's debute

Malkin just left the ice favoring his left shoulder after colliding with LeClair behind the net. didn't look good.

Apparently a beautiful pass to LeClair, who whiffs .... and then proceeds to damn near kill Malkin.

    Fuck. That. Guy.

Malkin and Recchi both off to the hospital. Apparently no X-ray machine at the arena. It's Malkin's left shoulder. Pens fanboard in full-on meltdown mode. Recchi's injury apparently a stick to the eye.

Edit: Malkin back in the building, according to Pens' radio broadcast. No report on severity, or lack thereof, of the injury
