Keenan wants his teams to be the late 1980s Flyers, the early 1990s Blackhawks and the 1993-94 Rangers. That's problemmatic in 2005.

Tonight, the Rangers are in Washington to take on the Ovechkins, for the second time in three days. Interesting schedule; skating against Ovechkin, Crosby and Ovechkin back-to-back-to-back.

It's the new instigator rule. Start a fight in the last 5 minutes and you get a game. PLUS Murray got fined 10g's.

And Gretzky does the same thing and doesn't get a fine.

Alexander Ovechkin finished with four points (a goal and three assists) in the Capitals' 5-1 win over the Rangers tonight.

    He's good.

Yes, it's true, the NHL has a different set of rules for Wayne Gretzky. Not exactly a shock to those of us who will never forget the Grate One's infamous high stick that sliced Doug Gilmour open in Game 6 of the 1993 Western Conference Final. No call by referee Kerry Fraser and no five-minute major or ejection for the man who then scored the game-winning goal in overtime.
