    Growing up, my son thought the nickname was "Flamers." I didn't bother to correct him until he was 20 or so.

    Kansas City for starters, I think. Scouts? Came in with the Caps if memory serves.
    From there, Oakland maybe?

    SHIT. I get half a point anyway. The original Colorado Rockies. How could I forget that?

    What became of the California Seals? Or were they Golden Seals?

    They were originally the Oakland Seals. They went bankrupt then Charlie Finley bought them and changed their name to the California Golden Seals.
