Team USA is in great hands with Ricky "My five-hole is bigger than Nate Netwon's ass" DiPietro.

The Rangers smoked the thoroughly pathetic Isles, 6-2, tonight at the Nassau Urine-stenched shithole.

    DiPietro's stats:

    GOALIES (GOALS-SHOTS AGAINST)

    NYI(L) DIPIETRO 2-11 0-7 4-10 6-28 60:00

BTW: Jaromir Jagr finished with a four point (one goal, three assists) night. I do hope the rest of the NHL is sleeping tight. :D ;D

No contest - If the Oilers get anything resembling goaltending, they walk away with this one. 8)

    That's a big if.

But should we put Tim's Gift Certificates on the line? Ten bucks worth? :D

    You're on.

Ten bucks worth of Tim's Gift Certificates.

Or two pints of Keith's in July when you come to the Centre of the Universe for the SportsJournalists.com outing.

(I ASSUME you're going to make the eastern trek)

I really want to make the trek East. but I have no idea even where I'll be. I'm trying to move on from where I'm at now, and then it's a matter of actually having cash to make it out there. If I can, Two Pints of Keiths it is, if not, Timmys.

Jagr had a pretty good quote as well.

"The way I see it is, when you are down two goals to Ottawa, it is different than when you are down two goals to the Islanders," Jagr said politely.

The Isles are gutless, heartless losers. Last night's game was DiPietros first after a "mental-health" break. I wonder when Ricky will take a "Learn to stop the puck" break. Mental-health break. Give me a fucking break.

HB, remember this is the guy that Millbury drafted first overall (first goalie ever) because of his awesome puck handling abilities. Just another one of Mad Mike's drug-induced choices.

Look who Milbury has traded/passed on in the last decade. It's a who's who of the NHL.

Chara, Redden, McCabe (that's a pretty good trio of defensemen, eh?). Luongo. Bertuzzi, Spezza, Samsanov, Prucha. The list goes on.

The frightening part is that Milbury keeps his job. Clearly, he must have photos of Wang and his wang in a  sheep hidden in his desk.

On another Islanders note, the 60 story lighthouse will be scrapped.
