Rangers lose 4-3, in OT, to Philly tonight.

Flyers win the faceoff in OT. Simon Gagne skates in and lifts a backhander past a thoroughly awful Kevin Weekes.

It's time to retire from hockey when you're Garth Snow's back-up.

And just when you thought the Islanders couldn't get worse............they get a goalie named Cloutier.

Nothing good ever came out of the Vancouver one, so I wouldn't get my hopes up too high.

JR, it's a bad time to be an Islanders goaltender. DiPietro is out with a sprained knee, and Snow's out with his knee injury. So, the franchise made famous by Billy Smith is starting AHL retreads Wade Dubielewicz and Frederic Cloutier.

HB, you know your franchise is in trouble when Garth Snow--at 36 years old--is your back-up.

    Hell, bring back Felix Potvin.

The only back-up worse than Snow in recent memory was Trevor Kidd of the Leafs. Geez, I'm not sure how that guy made it out of junior.

I'd like to see a game with Kidd and Weekes in nets. I am not sure which one is worse.

Also, I think you, me and your boys need to head over to Hempstead, and try out for the Islanders. We can't be any worse than DiPietro, Snow, Dubielewicz and Cloutier.

Oh come on, I don't care if they are AHL re-treads Long Island fans have got to be excited at the prospect of improved play in the crease.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kidd played some games when he was baked.

A few cheap shots in tonight's games...Eric Godard sucker-punched one of the Canes (didn't catch who it was), Bill Guerin eye-gouged some poor fucker on the Ducks and got heaved, Bryan Marchment went for Jason Allison's knee (what a surprise) but in a real twist, got the worst of it and had to be helped off the ice. What a shame. ;D

No, it was Marchment who got hurt, not Allison....but something happened to Darcy Tucker near the end of the game. He had an open net, fanned on his shot, went down in a heap and had to be helped off. Not sure what that was about.
