Yeah, but his wife is super hot, or else she was the last time I saw her. She's Shayne Corson's sister.

I remember that they were brothers-in-law. How is Corson doing?

I haven't heard anything about him for quite some time, to be honest.

tucker has a rib injury. there was some doubt that he was going to play tonight. dont think hell be going in edmonton tomorrow.

tucker is actually a very decent guy. he has two problems: 1) hes waaaaay too intense, which is why he cannot be part of a losing team, and 2) hes a follower. hell never admit it -- in fact, he gets angry if you suggest it, but the best thing that happened to him was corson leaving the team.

since shayne -- who is a bad influence -- was let go, tucker has become a much more valuable player.

    Sirs, Madames,

Corson confirmed for the reunion of the 85 world under-20 team in Vancouver a few days back -- and then didn't appear at the media session. Nice touch.

Golfed up at Windemere summer before last -- there were three little squirts and a guy who from 200 yards back looked like he was working the gas pump at the Baysville Sunoco. Yup, greasy, hair all akimbo, looked like he came straight from work. Back up on the next tee -- yup Darcy Tucker, nephews and friend. He reverted to an adolescent state -- it was like Big. I think the kids were afraid that he was going to get them thrown off the course.

I always have gotten along with him but I started talking to him in Montreal when he was happy just to have someone to talk to. In Toronto, he's sour with many and pissed about something all the time, whether it SC or TGreen or whatever, but it's always a media circus in the room. (I think his youth was pretty screwy. Talked to his parents who are so wired he comes off like Perry Como.)

The only way the Islanders can better its play in nets is if they hire the fat guys who scarf down Krispy Kreme on Hempstead Turnpike to play goal.

Interesting little scuffle between Kovalchuk and Crosby tonight.

Kovalchuk hit Crosby. Crosby slashed Kovalchuk. Crosby got a penalty. Kovalchuk scored a power play goal later in the game and pointed straight at Crosby in the penalty box.

    Said Kovalchuk,

    Mr Dude,

Baby Jesus's trash-talking was in earshot of a few at the Mem Cup last spring. He's a banal quote because he saves his best material for opponents. He's sort of Baby Rickles.
