    I find it highly telling that, in the thick of the season, this thread went silent for nearly two full weeks.

    I noticed that NASCAR's TV ratings continue to sink, as well. Ratings for the Phoenix Cup race were down 17 percent from last season.

    Sure, F1 and NASCAR would be a nice little partnership, but I can't see it happening (nor do I know how realistic this is).

    Congrats, lono and all other NASCAR scribes, for surviving a season filled with some of the most boring BS I've ever seen from this series. I used to scoff at the black-helicopter conspiracy theorists, but they're starting to win me over.

    NASCAR is subjecting the world to more David Spade, by naming him host of this year's awards ceremonies.
