Not a Martin fan. Would he retire already, please?

 

I didn't watch anything but the last 3 laps of this race. What an amazing last three laps.

 

If Junior or Gordon are leading, the yellow comes out a LOT faster.

 

If he would have won, it's a hell of a story.

 

Holy shit! Wow.

Great interview by Mark Martin, too. Good for him.

 

Great finish. Good to see Harvick beat Daytona.

 

As is true about any NASCAR race.

 

All I could think watching Victory Lane. ...

Damn straight ... the guys a class act. The best professional in this business I've ever had to deal with. I know cheering ain't allowed in the press box, but sitting here in the office, I couldn't help but pull for him to win it.

Friggin sux, but that's racin'.

 

DirecTV gave everybody the Hot Pass feature for free this weekend. It both rocked and sucked.

Rocked
Being able to choose between in-car cameras for Stewart, Johnson, Harvick, Waltrip and Jr.

Listening to conversations between the driver and pit crew that isn't approved by NASCAR or FOX, like when Earnhardt started talking about a certain blimp looking better than Goodyear's. And hearing the wrecked drivers talking to the crew while they were still spinning.

Sucked
The announcers calling each channel were the biggest homers on the planet. The guys on the Earnhardt channel kept saying "we" as in "We need to get to the front before the next round of pit stops."

Seriously, the announcers sucked so badly they deserve two entries. They made your local high school football radio announcer sound objective.
