I did...God of War 2 last night in a marathon eight-hour session. My hands are killing me, my vision's blurred, and my head's killing me, but I feel pretty good about it...

Is anyone else just flat-out annoyed with FOX's pre-race stuff? Whatever happened to the days of stats, covering news items from the previous week, doing interviews with drivers, and breaking down the race? Do we REALLY need a badly-done (and unoriginal) "American Idol" parody? Terrible, just terrible. Believe it or not, you don't have to incorporate pop culture into every single segment. I think it's pretty sad that job requirements for NASCAR media now include "knowledge of pop culture." Yes, it's fine occassionally, but what FOX is doing is both painful and embarassing to watch. It's the same during NFL season. I don't tune in to see HOFers act like clowns; I tune in to see them use their experience and knowledge to break down the race and the sport to fans. I guess I'm in the minority...

Huh. A debris caution at Atlanta with less than 20 laps to go. This is getting fucking ridiculous. Why don't they just go ahead and name Vince McMahon NASCAR president and be done with it?

That caution pretty much cost Stewart the win, giving everybody a chance for tires and gas. Johnson wasn't going to make it without it.

  6. No one else is watching the Bristol race?

  8. God bless you, Moddy.

No one yet. Stewart has led most of the way.

Nice debris caution to help Johnson. Big shock.

Moddy the Looser Fanboy may be making a return, if everything holds to form.

And boots shows off his NASCAR chops. Impressed.

It'll cost as much money as the teams want to throw at it to gain two-hundredths of a second in qualifying.

  12. Which means the Jeff Gordons of the world will win many more poles than the Ward Burtons. Of course, that's how it's always been. To quote Harry Hogge, "There's nothing stock about a stock car." Money talks.
