Good for Stewart. Although, I'm sure France will have something to say about it.

Well, anybody who has it in for ESPN is fine with me. I'm sure they devoted the same amount of SportsCenter time on last year's NASCAR Indy race when it didn't televise it, right?

When ESPN produces game coverage, it does a very good job.

When ESPN overpromotes, it is wicked grating.

That's the great thing about him. He doesn't give a fuck. From the post-race interview:

    Q. After the race when you spoke with ESPN you didn't say that your fans take a lot of heat, you said they take a lot of bullshit. Last time a profanity was used on TV with Dale Earnhardt, he was fined, all that. Are you at all concerned?

TONY STEWART: A little late to be concerned about it now, isn't it? It pretty much is what it is. Whatever happens, they still can't take this trophy away from me today. Whatever happens happens.

I think he said on his Sirius show he was pissed at Woody Paige saying it on Around the Horn.

What did he do to the ESPN guy this weekend?

Said perfectly by him. He doesn't give a fuck and if someone does, well he doesn't give a fuck.

    Ditto :)

If you just fine a guy, and take away points now - then how does this affect the price of beer in China whenever he still makes the Chase?

Just ripped him for asking a stupid question.

WHAT IS SO SPECIAL ABOUT THIS RACE TRACK?
"You're kidding, right? You don't know the answer to that already? You really don't know the answer to that? Do you want me to find somebody to tell you that real quick so we can go on with the stuff that people don't know the answer to yet? If they don't know that by now, they won't figure that out. That's been asked for nine straight years. And it hasn't changed. So if your viewers have watched for the last eight years, they'll know exactly what it means."

No, it was on PTI or Around The Horn.

It's about time someone took that stance.

well, it's not like any of the drivers fear Brian France anyway. Now when Bill France ruled with an iron fist on the other hand, it was a different story.

Thought of this today when watching Bill Hicks Live with the boy. Hicks was very like Brian France in appearance when he looked his youngest. Not when he looked 50 despite being 30. But he had France's eyes and youthful appearance at one point.

    Apropos of nothing, I know.
