Trying to plan a long drive tomorrow with my son who has to be in front of a TV for the varsity race because he just "feels it" that Junior's gonna beat. I told him I had something he could feel right here.

    Jeff's gonna beat. He's on a roll. [/fangirl]

If I was a betting girl, and I'm not, my money'd be on Jimmie Johnson tomorrow.

As much as I'd prefer to see your boy win, I think my son may be on to something here.

I'm curious about this announcement by Silver Spoon France about "adjustments" to his precious chase - which is no more than the old system with only 10 guys.
    More drivers, with periodic cutdowns?

What I loved about that was the drivers who said they were excited about it despite not having ANY details. I love how corporate NASCAR is sometimes. It amuses me to no end.

And I will be using my Dale Junior voodoo doll tomorrow to make sure he doesn't beat. :D

That's just one day. The other 364, you still have to put up with her BS.

I keep waiting on NASCAR to announce the Plus-1 (or 2) ammendment to the Chase. Plus 1 if Junior or Gordon is out of it, plus 2 if they're both out.

I'm gonna go with Gordon, myself. That 24 has been awfully strong in the plate races for the past three years. He's had some unfortunate luck, but I'm thinking he's about due to make a good run. Driver like that, he's not gonna have bad luck forever. (And yeah, I know he won last week, but it's the only one this season)

I picked Mr. Red Bull, Brian Vickers, in my fantasy racing league. Eh, why not?

    Tony beat.

Gordo caught in accident with 5 or 6 laps left. (missed it when mom called ). DAMMIT!

Can Boris Said (fourth) get some love? Yes, he used a pit strategy to get himself out there, but still it's impressive.

I doubt he would have finished in the top 10 had it not been for the crash and then the caution that froze the field on the last lap, but that's beside the point. He did finish fourth and that is indeed impressive.

Still, I thought he might lose the handle of "road-course specialist" around the 157th lap.

Not tonight. Not yet. He'll need three showers to get Tony's rubber off his face.
