I'm sorry to tell all the Said heads that Boris will wreck today or blow a tire. Unfortunately, he's my fantasy pick.

Here are my recent picks for the last six races, with results:

Indy: Kahne (36th, crashed on last lap)
    Pocono: Hamlin, WON
New Hampshire: Kurt Busch (38th, got wrecked)
Chicago: Tony Stewart (32nd, ran out of gas on last lap while running third)
Daytona: Brian Vickers (18th, fell back after leading)
    Sonoma: Robby Gordon (40th, crash)

Sorry, Boris. You'll have to sell more cases due to this pick.

EDIT: Jimmy Spencer, whose picks have been as poor as mine, also picked Boris today. Ouch.

How about a different winner today?

In the Chase era, I think there have been only two drivers who have won just once -- Jarrett ('05) and Nemechek ('04). Is that right? I believe every other race winner has won at least twice. Even Mayfield and Sadler. Even Hamlin.

Is this a record? Race hasn't even gone green yet.

I'll go out on a limb and say Mayfield won't win. Neither will Sterling Marlin. And Marlin's actually entered.

    Dayum.

Sucks to be Kurt Busch right now.

EDIT: And that's what we call payback, Mr. Kahne.

Darkhorse for a top 5? He qualified 10th and won on a road course in the Busch race in Mexico City.

Jayski reports that the NBC affiliate in Cleveland is not showing the race. I'd be pissed...

I totally agree, Kurt got the shaft there...how are you supposed to get off pit road just as that light comes on? That wasn't much of a shot.

IJAG was right about Marlin. He just wrecked.
