I respect NASCAR, but am I asking too much to not have every last lap end with carnage in the back of the pack? Learn to drive, ya morons.

That was the first thing I thought when he started talking today. :(

Also, does every spinoff require a full-course caution? Don't they still have flagmen in the turns for road-course races? Anyone ever heard of the term "local yellow"?

  5. Note on Jayski that Robby Gordon has bought RYR. WTF?

Did you guys see what happened to Boris and Ron Fellows? They got dropped out of the top 10 into the 30s after the race...OUCH!

The RYR rumor has been denied.

Robby's probably made some nice coin through running Indy cars then in NASCAR, but you actually think he'd have the coin to buy Yates out? C'mon.

  8. I agree. That's why I had the WTF.

You gonna trust something from LTN Radio Network? Their webpage doesn't even work. I can't say that's the hallmark of a reputable news-gathering organization.

And if I am ultimately wrong, I will be back on here apologizing and singing the praises of LTN.

  10. Hustle,

You are not wrong, will not be wrong and won't be needing to make an apology. I posted it because I thought it was nuts for someone to put that out there. Nuts. Nothing more than that. That's what the "WTF" was for, and I guess I missed.

On a different matter, if you or anyone has seen anything written this season other than a press release on the change in licensing and trackside merchandising this year I'd be interested.

    From Jayski:

The LTN Radio Network is slashdotted at the moment.

Wicked: You'd be stunned at how much RG has made in Indy cars, sports cars and desert racing --- not just the purse money, but also the business deals that go with it. One of his Baja racers costs as much as his entire Nextel Cup fleet put together.

Matamoros: Sorry dude, that was more of a general 'you' than one pointed specifically at, well, you. Your WTF was correctly used, IMO...
