In the same vein of a Les Robinson Invitational (for those that don't know, the nickname of the ACC Tournament play-in game)?

My mother always told me, "if you can't say anything nice..."

Oh, fuck it. I hope Harvick wrecks on the first lap.

Sorry, Jay, I think that's newsworthy. Just because it's shitty equipment, does that mean he's gotta wreck it before it breaks on him?

Now, here is something on which we can agree. Kyle Petty is a great guy and has done a ton of work for charity. But his time as a top-level driver is long over.

Except for the time when Gilliland got into the field at Sonoma with the backmarker team and didn't get into any trouble...did he? I'm about 80-90 percent sure he didn't spin at Sonoma. Too tired to check.

I hope this stretch doesn't ruin his new career...people are treating Gilliland like an A.J. Foyt IV punchline.

    Whoops, sorry. Missed it. :)

Big NASCAR news north of the border today. A Busch race will take place next Aug. 4 at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, replacing Martinsville on the schedule.

There's a Cup race at Pocono the same weekend, so it's hard to say if any Cup drivers will be able to compete in Montreal.

Why not? They don't have an airport in Montreal?

Pocono and Montreal are only 400 miles away. There will be lots of drivers doing the double. NASCAR will make sure of it.

Easy enough to cross the border in and out that many times in a couple days?

IJAG's got a point (for once). Canadians might have a problem with those American terrorists crossing back and forth so many times.

    Who beat?

Not Travis Kvapil. And not Kasey Kahne.

Martin=Well, there's always the truck series
    Earnhardt=Well, there's always 2007.

There is time for Earnhardt. Leave him alone! :) [bigfaniam]

I hated seeing Kenseth run outta gas -- he was my pick in my fantasy racin' league.

I'm rootin' for Denny Hamlin. Wouldn't it be great to see a rook win the Cup?
