Intentions have a habit of changing when a lot of money is thrown around.

It's good for Gilliland, but given the fact that the 38 has sat on the pole for three straight Dega races now, it's probably not the driver in this case.

To boost my previously espoused theory of MB2 going to Ford, this report popped up on Jayski this morning. Of course, LTN has a shaky track record with some of its "scoops."

And from team owner Bobby Ginn today:

Not that you can ever believe anyone, but at least it's being openly refuted. For now.

And Mike Piazza also said he wasn't gay. [/blackhelicoptertheorists]

Nice finish today. I'm sure there will be some heated words exchanged once the cameras go off and the media goes away.

Junior can't be happy since he had that race won.

Jimmie Johnson gets wrecked by a soon-to-be former teammate.

Vickers gets the win the only way possible. . . be wrecking the two cars ahead of him.

This sets up the rest of the season well.

So Earnhardt gets taken out of the Chase by a punk. Nice.

Second time Vickers wrecked a member of the Hendrick team/alliance (see Mike Bliss, Nextel Open, 2005) to win a race. Douche.

Moments ago, local cops just got a call of a domestic disturbance (woman screaming obscenities and the sound of objects being thrown within the house).

This was the exchange on the scanner after the officers arrived:

Cop: "No problem here, she just wasn't happy with the race results."
Dispatcher: "Was she an Earnhardt fan?"
Cop: "Yeah. And she's not a Brian Vickers fan."

    Classic.

Actually, this is what Vickers told Johnson after the race:

"Where are you, Pepe Le Bitch?"
