He didn't smell of alcohol? Probably because the douchebag was smart enough to shower and change and rinse with some Listerine.

Jimmie beat ... in Cup points, of course.

Race ain't over yet, but Biffle was leading.

Jimmie wins, loses the Peyton Manning of NASCAR tag. It would have been a huge choke to lose it in the final laps...would have been hard to watch

In the AP story on Montoya, writer said of Juan Pablo, and I quote, "He was hugely successful in F1."

Um, was the writer watching a different F1 than the one I normally do?

Well, I guess it depends on your definition of successful. I had to look this up, but he had seven wins, 13 poles and finished third overall in 2002 and 2003. I'm not an F1 aficionado like some others on the board though, so I'm not sure.

We need Bubbler to this thread, ASAP!

I was always under the impression that Montoya was a huge disappointment in F1.

He won seven races in just a couple years in the era of Michael Schumacher and Fernando Alanso winning everything. I don't know if that makes him "hugely" successful, but it sure as hell makes him well above average.

I would say hugely successful would need to have a title attatched to it, but he did well with the equipment he had. I think he's going to do better than people think next year as a rookie.

I think he's got to be a favorite for ROY...The guy is extraordinarily talented. A lot of people ripped Ganassi when he signed JP and after next season, Ganassi may look like one of the smartest men in NASCAR...
