Questions are certainly valid about Allen's health, and Pierce to an extent, although he hasn't been injury-proned throughout his career and last year they certainly took their time getting him back in the lineup. As for Garnett, what leads you to believe he's due to break down? He hasn't played less than 76 games in his career (except for the lockout season) and was 10th in scoring last year and has led the league in rebounding in each of the last FOUR seasons.

He does have a lot of miles on him, but I haven't seen ANY signs of him fading.

The supporting cast may not be great, but is it any worse than the Cavs' last season?

Garnett will not slow down. Not this year.

Unbelievable. Lakers come back to make it a 2 point game after being down by 10 with 1 minute left.
92-90 Houston's got the ball with 24.9 seconds left

And Battier drains it. Quite a final minute.

Great game from Kobe. 40 percent from the field, 68 percent from the free-throw line. Five turnovers, too.

And most importantly, the Lakers lost.

I wonder what his numbers would've been like if he wasn't being triple teamed all night. Call me a fanboy, but the truth is the truth.

P.S. You forgot 45 points, but I'm sure it just slipped your mind ;D

It took him 59 shots (including 27 free-throw attempts) to score those 45 points. And more turnovers than assists. Great job, Kobe.

Not a bad night for Kirilenko: Nine points, nine rebounds (five offensive), eight assists, five blocks and a steal. When he's on, Kirilenko is a freak show in the box score.

The free throw misses are on him,no doubt. But again if you're playing against double and triple teams all night, its' going to be hard to shoot 50%.

P.S. Just imagine if he had talent around him(ie on the Bulls). Hell just imagine if Lamar Odom was on the floor tonight.

Oh no doubt. When he's in a "good mood", he'll do that for you every night.
But the guy that really impressed me tonight was LaMarcus Aldrigde. Drops 27 points against Tim Duncan. Not bad, not bad at all.

  11. So maybe a pass would be a good idea?
