I was pretty sure it already has, to some degree. Wasn't the blame for Shaq's -- and Phil's first -- departure put on Kobe's shoulder?

 

Mavs looked good last night and I loved Cuban's reaction to the Kobe trade question.

 

Considering that the Lakers have pretty much demanded the solar system for Kobe, why would anyone deal with them?

That said, this is where the little Sexual Harasser in Isiah's head tells him it's a good idea to trade David Lee, Quentin Richardson, Jamal Crawford, Nate Robinson and the Knicks' first round picks in 2010-to-2020 for Kobe.

 

If it involved those 4 players and no more than 4 high lottery protected picks, I'd make that trade with my eyes closed.

 

Would-be Kobe suitors should wait a couple of months. As the Lakers drop further and further out of the picture, that price will really drop.

 

They were talking about a three-way trade last night that's supposedly fallen through already that had the Lakers getting Artest and Ben Wallace.

They would have run Kupchak out of there on a rail if that had ever come to fruition.

 

Another fantastic misconception.
Kobe never ran any teammates out of LA. And the whole Shaq thing is all Jerry Buss's fault. Which is why Shaq and Kobe are cool now.
