Going back to what I said earlier, Caron Butler is having a monster year.

Today against the Mavericks: 25 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals.

Those are almost as good as the numbers Kirilenko used to put up night after night a couple years ago.

Not many could touch AK-47 a few years ago. To nearly get a triple-double every night with blocks in the mix is a tough feat to touch.

In 2005-06, he went 15.3 PPG, 8.0 RPG, 4.3 APG, 1.5 SPG and 3.2 BPG. The man is a defensive machine.

Don't forget the steals. He really could fill a stat box.

AK did go for a triple-double this year with 20 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. Plus he got six steals and four blocks.

Caron's a beast and is reppin' the Huskies quite well.

He has improved each year since '04-'05 with the Lakers and is now a legit star. The Wiz would be wise to ditch Arenas and build their entire team around him.

Nice win for the Lakers vs. the Nuggets, especially with Bryant only taking seven shots. He finished with 11 assists and it looked like the "supporting cast" sort of got back in the flow. There's no way the Lakers can keep up their current pace with Bynum and Ariza both out for eight weeks, but if they can play around .500 ball (they're currently 15 games over .500), they might be able to regain some of that momentum they had and be a force in the playoffs.
