I was just joking anyways. Seemed funny to see his name next to Kobe's to make the same point. Rasheed is a good shooter, exceptional considering his size. The problem I can understand people have with him is, considering his size, he'd probably be even better if he spent less time behind the 3-point line.

Jamal Crawford is Larry Hughes part deux. And that's NOT a good thing.

Well Rasheed keeps the opposing 4s and 5s busy, opening up the lane for Rip and Prince to drive.

Ah, the question we Pistons fans tussle with on a daily basis.

Sheed is gonna do what Sheed wants to do, and if that's what the coach wants (or the team needs), it's all good.

Otherwise, everyone except Sheed can go fuck themselves. It's the dirty truth no one around Detroit dares breathe out loud.

Will someone please shoot the Mavs and put them out of my misery.

It's a bad sign for the Heat, diminished or not, when they score 10 points less in four quarters than the Warriors had at halftime.

This type of game is what gets the NBA a bad rap.

The Miami Heat as a whole are what's wrong with the NBA.

There are evidently a minority of teams in the Eastern Conference that are run well. Some have been that way for a while, others have made some good deals of late and are really good.

So why aren't those teams that are just awful making personnel decisions doing something about it? There seems to be far too much time given to management when they continually prove themselves to be unable to put together a strong franchise.

Are you saying the Heat are well ran? They rolled the dice and it did pay off with Shaq the one year, although several people in zebra colored shirts played a gargantuan role in that one.
But they did nothing over the era to prep for the future. I'm not saying teams that constantly are "looking to the future" are well ran, but look at your consistently strong squads. Even when they're going for it all, they always manage to do something to make sure the future is still somewhat bright.
That said, the Marion move was outstanding and they're going to get a nice pick. But even with Marion, Wade and whoever they nab ... are they really that good of a team?
    Not thinking so.

I'm saying the Heat are definitely in the minority right now. They are going to get better next season, but what about the Pacers, Bobcats, Bucks, Knicks or Nets?

The Nets, 10 games under .500 and with a 6-26 record in games decided by over 10 points, are a playoff team right now.

Oh well yeah, the Eastern Conference is pathetic. The Nets and the Knicks need to just cease operation for a year, and then try to re-enter as new expansion teams or something.
The Pacers need to get Jamaal Tinsley to bed early, the Bucks need to just go away in general and the Bobcats need to continue to build on a pretty solid young nucleus.
I'd like to say this Eastern Conference thing will just be a cyclical instance, where it will eventually turn around -- but since it's been in a drastic decline since around 1990 (sans the MJ Bulls and maybe Detroit), I don't see that changing anytime soon.
