See, here's why I dont' count that as an excuse. In the following game, the Suns completely gave that game away. It seemed as if they were winning by 10 or more the whole game and they completely collapsed during the final 5 mintues.

KG with a triple double tonight. It's preseason but still.....

If you suck and play in the east, you still have a great shot to make the playoffs. Plus, I don't see why this team should suck at all. With Eddy Curry and Zach Randolph anchoring the low post, they can be a dangerous team. Oh wait, they have Isiah.....

Who will distribute the ball for the Knicks? Who will rebound? Block shots? These Knicks are a collection of talented scorers but they're not a good team. Again.

The Suns didn't have a lead in Game 6. They were down 37 going into the second half.

The following game was game 5, not 6.

I get the points on the Knicks, and I can foresee problems with sharing. But -- gasp!! -- last year's finish has be believing a little. I'll believe the doom and gloom when I see it.

Meanwhile, the Cavs, after another 25-point loss (I know, just preseason) last night, are faced with this opening schedule:

    DALLAS
    NEW YORK
    @ Phoenix
    @ Golden State
    @ Utah
    @ Sacto
    @ LAC
    @ Denver

    Yikes.

This will be the season Wallace completely melts down and destroys what's left of the Pistons' core of a contending team.

Sheed averaged a technical per game in the preseason. (In the preseason.)

Just in case there were any NBA refs who weren't already looking forward to fucking over the Pistons on every possible call this season, Sheed went on a "the-NBA-is-fixed-they-want-Cleveland-to-win" rant after the exhibition finale Wednesday.

You keep cancer cases like this on your roster at your own risk. Sooner or later, they melt down and destroy your team. Sheed's time is just about here.

Rasheed Wallace is a cancer?!?!?!? ::)
You think they would've won that title without him? You think they would've reached to 5 straight eastern conference finals without him? Have any of his teammates complained about him?
My God, just because you don't like him, dosn't mean he's a cancer. Hell, he's probably the most unselfish guy on the team.

P.S. Oh yeah and by the way, he came into training camp 20 pounds lighter.

Chuck, at any given moment Rasheed is prone to a technical, and that's just disrupting to a team over the course of the season. If I were Chauncey I would've said "either he goes, or I go."

But he never has because he know important Rasheed is on and off the court.

Plus, there's a huge double standard with these tech calls(and Chauncey knows it). You see it all the time. If Luol Deng or Grant Hill go out there and do the same thing Rasheed does, they don't get anything. But when Rasheed does it, the refs are quick to give him a t.

I think you guys are underestimating the Knicks a little. Remember, they were actually in the 8th slot in the East w/ about 20 games to go before they collapsed when Lee and Crawford got hurt. They have two guys who can score on the low block, a very valuable commodity. Curry and Randolph might seem like they don't fit as a tandem, but I suspect you'll see a lot of times when one or the other of them is on the floor with David Lee, who supplies the rebounding and dirty work and is the perfect partner for them both. They don't have a true point guard, but Marbury actually had a pretty good season last year under Isiah. They also have bench players, including Lee, Balkman and Nate, that can infuse energy and play defense. Their second unit should be one of the best in the league. They definitely have their flaws -- no shot-blocker and their starters are deficient defensively -- but they can get to 40 wins, maybe a little more. There's no way they'll be in the teens.

Exactly. There's alot of talent on this team. They just need to follow something that The Rock always used to say:

"Know your role, and shut your mouth"

It's called a history of behavior. Rasheed bitches about every damn thing. Shut your mouth and play the damn game, Sheed.
