Suns minus Nash > Lakers minus Kobe

EDIT: He should've won it last year too.

I agree with that. At the same point, I'd argue:

Suns with Nash = Easily at least the 2nd best team in the West.
Suns without Nash = Just suffered first two double-digit losses of the season.

While the Suns without Nash are still better than the Lakers without Kobe, I'm beginning to think Nash's IMPACT on his team is much greater. A seemingly elite Phoenix team looks completely lost without him.

I agree. But I just don't understand by Kobe isn't getting enough love. Nash is a definitely top MVP candidate. No doubt about it. But Kobe is like Peyton Manning out there with his squad. He's tellin' everybody were to go, where to shoot, and when to cut. Kobe deserves just as much consideration as Nash is getting right now.

Cleveland Cavaliers center Zydrunas Ilgauskas' wife had a miscarriage according to Lithuanian sources (That's why he's out). The couple were expecting twins.

    Damn, that's sad.

Yeah, Nash is definitely in the MVP driver's seat right now. His only competition right now is Wade (still under .500 with no Shaq) and Dirk (my team choked in The Finals and I'm soft) No-Win-Ski.

Suns 0-3 in their last 3 without Nash, including the Hawks. At Phoenix.

    It's Nash's to lose.

Houston up by 5 at the break against Dirk's Mavs. Actually, T-Mac should get some consideration, as well as the Roxs have played without Yao.

DWade? They're at .500 right now in the EAST. Come on man, I thought you joined the Kobe bandwagon :D.

Yeah, Wade's out, although this season (because of Kobe's knee or whatever), I think DWade is the best player in the league. He's really starting to play some tough D. Kobe's struggling in on-the-ball defense this year.

I think it's going to be Nash, or it would be if they voted today. I'm so happy for T-Mac, though. He's had a huge resurgence after all his back problems. :)

True, his on the ball defense hasn't been as good since the knee problems(especially last year). But I have seen improvement this year. DWade is a baller but the record without Shaq dosn't impress me.
Nash will probably win it but I've been really impressed with Kobe this year. He truly is the best player in the game.

Fair enough. It's either him or DWade. Lebron's a little off this year, and Nash doesn't play defense. Neither does Arenas. Dirk tries, and he has improved, but he's still not tough enough.

DWade, in my opinion, is better than LeBron right now. But when it's all said and done, I think 'Bron will be the better player. People forget that the guy is only 22 years of age(it's pretty amazing). His defense isn't there right now, but he has the physical tools to be a great defensive player.

I agree, LeBron will be better. He has more tools, like you said, CT.

Lakers-Cavs should be a good game tonight.

T-Mac and Dirk with 20 apiece, Houston by 1, third quarter. Good game.
