So you're telling me right now that you'd rather take a team consisting of Luke Walton, Smush Parker, Lamar Odom, and Ronny Turiaf over another team that has Shawn Marion, Amare Stoudemire, Raja Bell, Leanardo Barbosa, and Boris Diaw?

Depends on what offense I was planning to run.

Plus, you're talking a difference of like 18 wins. :)

Yeah yeah yeah. You know that if you had to pick one of these teams to win without their respective stars and your life was on the line, you'd pick the Suns and not turn back.

The Heat are 15-7 and have taken 1st place in their division since DWade went down. Come on now, it's obvious who the MVP of that team is. And he wears number 32.

    Tell Kobe that. :)

Shaq:If you don't feed the big dog the ball,he won't guard the yard?
Translated: If you don't give me the ball, I won't play defense.

Wow! Could you imagine if Kobe ever said that? I could see it now:
    "Kobe's selfish etc."

Where's the Shaq is selfish chants?

The "Selfish Shaq" chants kind of died when he led his 3rd team to The Finals last year, along with his 3rd different sidekick. :)

Right now, the Lakers are making Chris Wilcox look like Wilt, and Kobe "1st team All-D" is letting Damien Wilkins - Who? - do whatever he wants. The Lake Show can't afford to lose this game, the next week is going to be rough for them.

Like he had a choice. He knew he wasn't the same anymore and he was forced to defer. You know it and I know. If Kobe ever said that, it would've been career suicide.

First of all, are you watching the game? Kobe hasn't been defending him all night(and he's only got 16 points so far, big whoop). Secondly, are you ready to tell me Nash and Dirk are better defenders? [IMG]

Kobe's not checking Wilkins? Who's he guarding, Rindour? C'mon.

Kobe wanted Shaq gone. Shaq's gone, team falls down, goes boom.

Dirk and Nash aren't better defenders, of course not. Better teammates and less unselfish? Oh yeah. Neither would have run off Shaq so they could be 'the man.'

So the whole Shaq and Kobe fued had nothing to do with Shaq? C'mon man.

And Smush has been checking Wilkins.

EDIT: When did Nash's career start taking off? When he started getting talent around him. Same with Dirk.

If LAL loses this game, there's a very good chance they will hit .500 next week, or lower.

In 3 years under Kobe, the Lakers are a sub-.500 team.

    MVP?

    Most Valuable Player, Rok.
First year was expected because it was their first year without Shaq. The next, they get 47 wins and almost beat Suns in the first round. With Luke Walton, Smush "NBDL" Parker, and Ronny Turiaf. He didn't have Josh Howard, Jason Terry, Amare Stoudemire, and Shawn Marion to back him up(and not even metioning the other).
    Come on Rok, wake up.

So you would take an aging Shaq, over a 28 year old who's the best player in the game? And getting 47 wins with that crappy team is a huge[/] accomplishment. MVP worthy my friend.

And Smush has been guarding Wilkins. Kobe's checked him a couple times, but Smush ahas been guarding him too(I'd say a good number of times).

Smush is checking Wilkins? So Ridnour's playing the '2'? Or Waltion's guarding Wilkins? WTF?

I didn't say it had nothing to do with Shaq. But the final decision came down to Buss and Kobe. Kobe was Buss' meal ticket, and he chose him instead of putting Kobe in his place.

And now look where it got him and Kobe. And look where it got Shaq.

Kobe's a buster. Sure, he can play. But he's got holes between his ears. That's why he isn't winning jack as the #1 guy.
