Yeah but you said yourself that Kobe needed to take more shots during that game, remember? ;)

The "Jordan" comparisions haven't been made because of one week. The past two years, alone, supports the argument. Again, I think Jordan was the better player, but I'm not gonna' call you crazy if you think Kobe is the better player.
I think we're gonna' have to see more from the Kobe, and Lakers front office, if we're gonna say he's the greatest of all time. Statiscally, I don't think he has to do much because I think he's already proven with that. But he's going to have to get his team far in the playoffs. But, there's no way he, or anyone else, can do it with this team. Not Steve Nash, not Dirk Nowitzki, not anyone. That's why I think it's a hell of an accomplishment for Kobe to bring this team consisting of a bunch of nobodys to two straight playoff appearances.

Forgive me if I don't celebrate HC advantage. I'll do my celebrating when the trophy comes to Big D! :D

Smart man. Too many Dallas fans were celebrating every little thing last year. Hopefully, for your sake, the Mavs have the same mindset as yourself.

Unfortunately, TD, I think you might have a Cubs-esque wait on your hands. :D

This is how a person goes about not being in contention for the MVP award:

    LAL:

    26 - 13 in the first 39 games

    14 - 25 in the last 39 games

That's worse than I thought. Ugh.

You're missing the big picture. What do you think happened in between? It was those injuries. Rok, you're a smart guy, it's very simple. If a team with not a lot of talent catches the injury bug, it's almost certain that they'll miss the playoffs, if not, get a 10 pick in the draft.
    The difference? Kobe Bean Bryant.

Answer this Rok, if Dirk or Nash were on the Lakers instead of Kobe, would they of won 60+ games?

Chuck, you're a smart guy. You know there is NO way I'm not using a stat like that when I come upon it.

    :)

In the words of Rokski "Hey, it's all laid out there. Just take a look. This is what the basketball almanac is telling me." 8)
