I love The Bruce as an analyst on these US games.

That goal in the US game was sweet. Very quality ball control by the guy that got the assist.

I'm pleasantly shocked by how well The Bruce has done.

Has anyone asked him when the Claudio Reyna transfer will finally be done? Or does ESPN2 not care about cross-promoting Major League Soccer?

I was amused by his requirements to be the USMNT coach. Number one was "speak English."

In other words, get your head out of the clouds, Mr. Gulati, you starfucker.

The Bruce was about a shot of vodka away from calling Landon a momma's boy. I thought that he was going to say, "Rob, if I hadn't placed my team in the hands of a player who was a complete pussy, I might still be the coach of this team."

Arena was great. Wynalda was at a loss for words often at being in there with someone who pulled no punches. Gee, while sitting next to The Bruce, all of a sudden he didn't want to mess with him.

Loved his pointed comments on Donovan. Figured he was one Rob Stone question away from really ripping Gulati for star fucking.

Yes, I agree with that take, Webster. I am highly amused at people who have drank Gulati's fantasy Kool-Aid and really think we should keepm trying to get a foreign coach just for the sake of getting one, regardless of the fact we'd be hard-ressed to get one that is worth a shit.

I hope that Chris Albright lost any hope of a starting spot with yesterday's performance. I'm not sure which move of his that I like the best, the one in which he ignores an open teammate and boots the ball long or the one in which he ignores multiple open teammates and boots the ball long.

EJ showed some hustle coming back, but he is not National Team quality. As The Bruce said last year, three tap in goals against a lousy Panama team doesn't mean anything.

I'll be talking a friend of mine today. The Bruce has RBNY on lockdown but sometimes I get tidbits here and there.

    As to Bruce's commentary... Wonderful.
Here is my list of players that would be "finished" with the National Team:
    Albright
    Johnson

I also saw exactly what I needed to see from Donovan. I saw that he is borderline finished. The guy has NO heart. None.

    Kenny Cooper is class.

Justin Mapp looked pretty slick. He looked fearless while showing a bit of flash.

Rolfe is another player I like.

ManU-Arsenal had an incredible last 30 minutes, with Henry scoring in stoppage for the win.

Due, strangely enough, to his battle with weight problems.
