Holy crap, it looks like Ashley Cole just blew his knee out planting to keep a ball in play. He's was down for about five minutes before they got him off on the stretcher.

Meanwhile, Dubai is out, and Montreal is in as far as Liverpool are concerned.

The nicknames that will be provided by opposing fans will be fantastic.

I have Sky Sports News loaded and it seems Larsson just scored again for Man U.

I just wish I could get some video highlights or something.

Chelsea's going to beat Blackburn 2-0 unless something really dramatic happens. Screamer of a goal by Lampard in the second half.

I hope that doesn't come to pass ... RBNY is easy enough to hate as it is. Rivaldo has game, but every time I see him, his scumbaggery during the '02 World Cup replays in my mind. Let him piddle away in obscurity with Olympiakos.

Gooch is out of contract at the end of the season. You're right that what Standard did doesn't make any financial sense, but they did it anyway.

With all the Premiership tentacles over in Belgium, though, I can't say I'm entirely surprised.

    Gentlemen, it's called The Richard.

It's not the size of the stadium, it's how you use it.
