Man United is going to have some serious lineup issues in the next few weeks with a very heavy schedule and a ton of recent injuries.

Scholes out for 3 domestic matches, Ole out for 3-4 more weeks, Saha out a month, Larsson going home on Sunday, Tweety and Fletcher likely out for the season, Evra out for an unknown amount of time and Rossi stuck at Parma.

Not looking forward to extended time for Richardson, O'Shea and Smith.

Roberto Carlos' explaination for the 10-second goal:

"The ball bobbled off the surface and bounced just in front of me," the former Brazilian international was quoted as saying in sports daily Marca on Thursday. "The pitch wasn't in good condition and it was a real shame.

"We didn't concede the goal because of a lack of concentration, it was because the ball bobbled when I got it."

    Come on! That's weak.

Didn't want to go back and look, but what happened to Henry? I know he's hurt often, but now he's out for the rest of the year?

Shocking that the injury coincided with their last meaningful game of the year.

One of his injuries is to his stomach.
    Translation: he's pregnant.

No comments on the Barca-Real match, eh? This one actually lived up to Ray Hudson's hyperbole -- and that's saying something.

    Didn't watch it.
I think I've watched one La Liga match this season.
For some reason I just can't get into this league. Less-informed soccer fans tell me all the time that it's a better league that the Premier League.
    Bullshit.
I do think it's a lot more balanced than the Premier League, but the quality of play between the top teams and bottom teams is a lot more distant in Spain.

    Isn't that a bit of a contradiction?

    What it means is this:
Every year it seems that the top four poisitions are the same in the Premier League, while in La Liga there are more teams that are able to finish at near the top.

But talent-wise, the Premier League is more balanced. Some of the teams in La Liga (re: Nastic, Real Sociedad) are just awful.
Sure, teams like West Ham and Watford are bad too, but Watford is in the FA Cup semis and West Ham is run by a bunch of morons who don't know how to play with the best players they have.
