If you aren't watching it right now, you're missing a complee dismantling of one team. One of the sides absolutely hasn't shown up tonight.

  2. you take a 2-1 lead into the second leg and before the seats are warm, you're down 3-0?? wtf

Damn. I can't get ESPN 360 to work because of my local cable people blocked it. Any Man U-Roma details for us working stiffs?

PLEASE NO CHELSEA-VALENCIA UPDATES. TIVO-ING THAT GAME. THANKS.

And the goals are absolute works of art, especially the FIVE-TOUCH, tic-tac-toe finished by Alan Smith. Not to be confused with the one two minutes later, when Rooney just blew by his defender and buried this cross.

Ronaldo could have four or five goals easy: he airmailed one, had another decent chance go off the side of his foot, had another one not bend and just miss the far post.

I think I know how this one ends, so I'm back in the office and my Man U fan co-worker is still watching at the local pizza joint next door.

All eight of the goals in this match have been well done. The Roma keeper just hasn't had a chance on any of ManU's seven scores.

He was a step or two out of position on Ronaldo's first goal, but that was more a product of his defender hanging him out to dry and letting Ronaldo abuse him.

    The others? No chance.

You're right, he was a tad out of position on that first one.

That lone Roma goal might have been the most impressive of them all. Either that or Carrick's second strike.

    What the hell happened?

Maybe Roma wants to show it can be a match-fixing squad if the money's there . . . . .

(No, they did not fix this. But damn . the second-place team in Serie A allowing seven goals? That's four-five games' worth of crappy defense usually).

Well, that broke that streak. The best goal of the match may have been the one from Roma.

Yikes, my prognosticating was not quite on par today...oh well I still watched the whole match. Bummed that Valencia lost though. Looking like an all England final may be on the cards.

Valencia has only itself and its goalkeeper to blame for that. How are you not covering your near post on the second goal?
