    Why are you so anti-England?

    I'm not anti-England, twoby. I'm anti-Everyone-else-left-in-the-competition.

Liverpool: As an Evertonian, I am bound by law to hate everything they do, say and accomplish, no matter what positive knock-on effects it may have.
    ManYoo: See above.
Chelsea: Loathsome, negative thugs with more cash than they know what do do with. They think nothing of buying up the best prospects and leaving them to rot.
Milan: Shouldn't even be in the competition to start with after the ref-buying scandal. If they win, they take a CL spot away from the fourth-place team in Serie A, currently Palermo.

The only -- and I mean the ONLY -- positive I can come up with is if ManYoo wins the whole thing, Everton gets another influx of cash from one of the Rooney deal's incentives. If it must be one of these four, let it be ManYoo. At least then Park Ji-Sung might get a winner's medal in something.

Any thought's on L.A. vs. Dallas tonight? I'm thinking if both teams play like they did opening weekend, and Landon finally hits the target with a few shots, there'll be some goals in this.

BTW, the broadcast schedule I got said the game starts at 10 p.m., but the timeframe goes 'til 12:30. Are they incorporating a pregame and postgame into this? If so, excellent. The more Rob Stone is on camera, the better.

El Lay should win despite the short week. For all the talent on Dallas' roster, they continue to underwhelm. I'm still not convinced the franchise has fully recovered from the Southlake debacle.

    2-1 for the home team.

Way to gag it Spurs, down 2-0 to Sevilla in the first 15 minutes.

They now need four to advance.

As a Liverpool fan, I did not realize you had such lousy taste in teams. It's OK, though. I still root for Timmy H!

    Great tactical work by Jol.
Starts with Lennon and Defoe on the bench.
    Brilliant!

I am just happy that tonight's MLS game is on HD. I shall record it tonight and watch it tomorrow. These MLS Thursdays will fill up that DVR fast.
