What I don't understand about the trade is this -- my biggest fear with high level picks is that they are overvalued because if the players are realy good, they will go to Europe in a couple of years. But RBNY is built to win right now. I can't believe that Marvell can't help them do that.

And I agree Pastor -- given what the team presently looks like, Marvell is way more valuable than Schopp.

With the Galaxy possibly setting up to a relationship with Rangers, I am rather happy. I always wanted to see more Americans in that wonderful blue.

As to this "potential" deal... I see nothing coming from it. Maybe they will practice together and scrimmage each year. I doubt much more.

 

I freely admit my SPL fanboyishness. If the Rangers are playing a team from the EPL or Europe, I'm a Bluenose. We Scots have to stick together in situations like that.

Well, I found a reputable source that said no, the Galaxy still has to trade for a spot as of yesterday.
